Men’s Basketball Adds Gonzaga to Exciting Non-League Slate, Patriot League Schedule Released
In addition to thrilling home games against two of the best Atlantic 10 teams, the Bucknell men’s basketball non-league schedule was already packed with tough major-conference opponents with illustrious histories. Now, head coach John Griffin III has announced a date with Gonzaga, a perennial national power, to complete the schedule. On December 21, the Bison and Bulldogs will play their first game in Spokane, Washington.
The Patriot League has also released the schedule for its eighteen intraconference games. Bucknell’s season starts on Thursday, January 2, when they travel to Lehigh. The Patriot League home opener for Bucknell is scheduled on Sunday, January 5, against Colgate, the reigning champion. In a thrilling Patriot League Tournament game that came down to the last possession, the Raiders defeated the Bison 68-65 semifinals last March.
Information on 2024-25 season ticket renewals will be sent on Thursday, and new season ticket packages and single-game tickets will go on sale in early October via Bucknell’s new soon-to-be-released basketball app.
