Gonzaga, San Francisco set to clash at Chase Center to conclude 2024-25 regular season

The Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors, will host the final game of the Gonzaga Bulldogs and San Francisco Dons regular-season schedules for the 2024–25 season, the venue announced Wednesday morning.

On March 1, Gonzaga and San Francisco will square off; the game’s time and broadcast information will be revealed later. The general public can purchase tickets for the game starting on September 25 at 10 a.m. at chasecenter.com.

The bigger NBA arena is nothing new to the Zags and Dons. Last season, Gonzaga overcame the teams in the Chase Center thanks to a 48-point effort from Nolan Hickman and Graham Ike. Gonzaga won 86-68. The Zags’ triumph completed GU’s series sweep following their victory over the Dons 77-72 earlier in the season at the Kennel.

Gonzaga and San Francisco will play their opening game of the season on February 13 at the Kennel and then again at the Chase Center 16 days later.

Concerning Gonzaga Bulldogs
Gonzaga, regarded as one of the enduring powers in college basketball, has participated in 25 successive NCAA tournaments, including nine straight trips to the Sweet 16.

The Bulldogs made it to the Sweet 16 of the previous season after winning 27 games and losing to Purdue, the national runner-up.

In 11 of the previous 12 seasons, Gonzaga has also shared the West Coast Conference championship. Gonzaga returns four starters from last season, including All-American Graham Ike, Ryan Nembhard, Michael Ajayi, a transfer, and Graham Ike, who was selected to the First Team All-Conference.

As he begins his 26th season as the Bulldogs’ head coach, Mark Few holds the highest winning percentage (83.4%) among all active coaches in the nation. He coached USA Basketball under head coach Steve Kerr of the Warriors this summer at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, where the US earned its fifth straight gold medal.

The Zags are predicted to be among the top 10 teams in the country coming into the 2024–25 campaign. Gonzaga is presently ranked No. 5 in ESPN’s “Way-Too-Early Top 25.”
