Taron Johnson of the Bills is doubtful to play again. The injury update has been extended two-month ahead….

One of the Buffalo Bills’ most vital defenders is sidelined early in Week 1’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Johnson was hurt during Buffalo’s opening defensive play of the season. Johnson is doubtful to return due to a forearm injury, according to the team:

Update on injuries: CB Taron Johnson’s (forearm) recovery is uncertain.

On Buffalo’s sideline, Johnson was observed receiving medical attention from personnel. Despite having his arm wrapped, the top nickel defender for the Bills reportedly went to the locker room.

The nickel position is a full-time starting position in Buffalo’s defensive scheme. Johnson’s loss is exacerbated by the fact that the Bills only ever start two linebackers in their starting lineup.

Updates will be provided on Bills Wire as soon as information becomes available.
