“He’s coming back,” Bill Burr said of Donald Trump, “all my fans let’s welcome our president back to the white house.”

In an interview on Tuesday, comedian Bill Burr criticized Jimmy Kimmel and anti-Trump progressives, calling them “you idiot liberals” for turning the Republican front-runner into a martyr by accusing him of crimes.

During a free-flowing interview on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday night, Burr—who is not a fan of the former president Donald Trump himself—shifted the conversation to the 2024 race.

“Liberals are so f—ing stupid, the way that they handle Trump,” remarked Burr. “You ought to stop talking! He is conceited. energy that is neutral. impartial.

Burr referred to Trump as a “one-hit wonder,” drawing parallels between him and the author of “The Twist,” who was brought back to life by the media’s obsession with him.

He said, “You stupid liberals wrote him ‘Twist Again’ when you indicted him.” And he’s a martyr now. Jimmy, he’s coming back. He is returning. Comedic value will be greatly enhanced. He is returning.”

Drawing cheers, Burr bemoaned that the two most likely candidates for president in the next election will be Trump and President Biden. He expressed his desire for a candidate in their 40s who would have to “live with their decision.”

“With any luck, they’ll both die of natural causes before the election, and maybe you could get somebody that still has something to live for,” remarked Burr.

Kimmel chuckled Burr expressed his displeasure, saying he especially hoped it would be a visit from the Secret Service.

Kimmel regularly takes aim at Trump and Republicans in his monologues, just like a large portion of the liberal late-night television circuit.

As he launches a quest for a second term, Biden’s age has caused significant concern for Democratic insiders and the White House. As of last month, Biden is the oldest president in American history, having reached 81 years old. At seventy-seven, Trump, the Republican front-runner, is only four years younger.

On Tuesday night, Trump made a prediction indicating that Biden would not become the Democratic nominee.

“I personally don’t think he makes it,” he said to Sean Hannity of Fox News. “I think he’s in bad shape physically.”

Last month, after his wife was spotted giving the former president the finger when he showed up at a UFC event they both attended, Burr made fun of Trump followers.
